| The Dolphins swam up the coast to Gillette
Stadium on January 2nd for the season finale. The Patriots had already locked up the
AFC East divsision along with home field advantage all the way through the playoffs.
The debate leading up to the game was dominated by the obligatory "How long should
they play the starters?" question. It turns out they played for about the first
half. No matter, really. The Patriots "squished the fish" by an
embarassing (and messy) 38-7 score to finish the season with the best record in the
NFL at 14-2. On to the playoffs!
